Provisioning for an ocean crossing – Ep. 26

How do you manage to stow 3 months of food in a 40 ft sailboat? There’s a lot of things to think about when planning a long passage and food is one of the most important. Join us in this episode to find out how we did and to see more of our DIY projects!

    Hi guys!

How are you doing? Nice to see how your preparations are going. Me and the family are also back on the boat. We have been in Las Palmas this month, also preparing our boat and doing provisioning. We are almost done and probably will leave this Friday. First we will go to Santa Cruz Tenerife and then on to La Gomera. I don’t think we will leave for Capo Verde before November, but I hope we will meet you somewhere. If we can bring or send you some supplies from Las Palmas let us know.

Good luck with everything and enjoy it!

    Lovely greetings, Nicolaas

Hi guys! Nice to hear from you! Hope you had a good time back home. We are now in Mindelo and it feels great to be here! Thank you for the offer but I think we’re fine. We haven’t decided how long we’ll stay here so maybe we meet here or on the other side 🙂 Best of luck to you guys and fair winds! Hugs
